They are authorized by the Ministry to work in the field of occupational health and safety, have an occupational safety expertise certificate, inspectors working in the Ministry and related institutions, and graduates of the faculties providing engineering or architectural education and technical staff.

Qualifications and assignments of occupational safety experts

(1) Those who will be employed as occupational safety experts must have a valid occupational safety certificate according to the relevant regulation.

(2) Occupational safety experts;

Those with Class (C) documents are in a less hazardous class,

Class (B) of those who have less dangerous and dangerous grades,

Those with Class A certificates can work in all hazard classes.

(3) In the workplaces where more than one occupational safety specialist should be appointed, it is sufficient that only one of the full-time occupational safety experts has a certificate suitable for the danger class of the workplace.

Obligations of occupational safety experts

Occupational safety experts are obliged to keep confidential information about economic and commercial status of the employer and the workplace in order to avoid disrupting the normal flow of the work as much as possible and contributing to a productive working environment.
Occupational safety experts are accountable to the employers they provide services due to negligence in the execution of occupational health and safety services.
Occupational safety specialist, employer notified by the employer of the workplace in a reasonable period of time to be determined by the employer in the event of an emergency stop requiring the necessary measures to be taken in relation to the occupational health and safety, fire, explosion, collapse, chemical leakage. and the business institution is obliged to inform the provincial directorate in writing.
The occupational safety specialist writes the findings and recommendations on the work done in the workplace, the work done with the workplace physician and other issues deemed necessary in the approved book.


Working hours of occupational safety experts

a) At least 10 minutes per employee per month in the less hazardous class.

b) At least 20 minutes per employee per employee in hazardous class.

c) At least 40 minutes per employee per employee in a very dangerous class.
